Luxury is about confidence and competence
By tech been good | on Monday, January 17, 2022
Too often in recent years luxury vehicles come with the tag of being fussy and unreliable. LEXUS rejects that notion and continues to deliver vehicles that simply don't break or aggravate. Performance is not best-in-class, but are owners drag racing their ES? Handling isn't country road exhilarating, but are owners rallying their cars? I've owned numerous cars and there are none that I would prefer more than my Lexus ES on a highway or cruising down suburban streets and roads. It's such a wonderful ride. Interior seating (Luxury Option) is supremely comfortable and offers many adjustments as well as heating and cooling that works. The feel of materials is upscale and switching all works reliably. While I prefer Apple Play for my music and navigation, the built-in system is certainly easy-to-use. The touch pad requires some experience to give you confidence, but I've gotten to the point where I can do it all by touch. The Lexus' mechanicals. paint, and suspension are all as they were on day one, although I'm writing this 3 years into ownership. I'm in no rush to trade in because everything look and feel new. Still pretty impressed with my ES 350.… - 5.0
Bang for your buck

Love the ride, best car I’ve own so far. Love how the maintenance doesn’t cost a arm and a leg. Very smooth and plenty of power for a daily driver (302hp). The upgraded sound system is worth the money. A lot of bass and good quality sound. If you want a high quality luxury product this is the one to look into. Sat in it and never looked back. The best part is the v6, it’s a proven engine and that will last a long time.… - 3.0
Its alright
By Haig | on Monday, December 19, 2022
I own one of these cars and I can say it's good for what it is. If I were to be honest, I would've gone for a Toyota Camry instead but the Lexus ES is also good. I like how mine, the ES 250 AWD has AWD, which does come in handy in rainy or snowy situations but other than that, the car is mediocre for me. Now, I should mention, my mother owns this car but we share it until I do get a car of my own. The Lexus's ride is nice, not the best thing ever, but I do have to admit the Camry felt like it had a better ride than this. The ES350 on the other hand, that has a very nice ride. My car also comes with leatherette, basically fake leather which feels fine, but for the price I'm paying I would expect a little more. I do have the premium package and blind spot monitoring equipped with my car and I do LOVE the features they provide. I'd honestly say that is the reason why I'm giving this car a 3 star rating instead of 2; the heated and ventilated seats come in so handy during the winters and summers in SoCal. The car is fuel efficient, with myself being able to achieve 47 mpg while on a highway in Vegas, and 42 mpg while driving on a 5 mile piece of highway. In proper city driving, I have achieved up to 21 city mpg but the highway is where it shines, if you hyper-mile the car. That 2.5L I4 does give some good fuel economy, but is also slow. Overall, I would save my money and get either the ES350 or another option but if you want something that works and has a Lexus badge, then by all means get an ES 250.…
